New
Caney, TX:
The coaches give reasons / theories behind every move so
we know when to use them. We learned about God and how
He can play a tremendous role in your life if you let
Him. I know that I can be a “difference maker” for
others. This camp is great and sure to make you better.
Charleston, WVA:
Every part of
my offensive game improved noticeably, especially the
ability to red the defense and to make the correct move.
Castroville, TX:
This is my fourth year. Both your one on one game and
shooting game will improve dramatically if you keep practicing the skills
and drills at home. I know how to fix every shot missed without the help of
anyone else. This camp not only helps your basketball game, but it is a
great place to learn about God. Coach Eddy’s stories about others inspire me
to keep pushing forward as it shows me real life examples of how amazing God
really is. I am reassured! This camp is awesome, thanks a ton!
Pueblo, CO:
All phases of my game are better but particularly my one on one
game. Especially helpful is knowing how to react when the defense is “in my
face.” The other thing that I have to keep in mind is to keep working on my
“off hand.” I came in touch with God on Thursday night.
Seguin, TX:
I was not a shooter but now I have
that under control. So I’m better in every way and even though I was
a driver I didn’t really understand what I was doing so now that
part of my game is also a lot better. I am a senior coming up and I
have been struggling with what I’m going to do after high school.
Every single inspiration / devotion made things a little more clear
about my future. The inspirations / devotions were my favorite part
of camp.
Mt. Ida, AR:
This camp has prepared to go against some of the best in the
nation! I’ll be going to San Diego, CA. to face that challenge.
San Benito, TX:
Every way that a basketball player can
get better and every way a person can get better is what happened to me this
week. In every aspect as a player and a person I got better. Thank you.
Snellville, GA:
My point guard skills were made better. The ball
handling drills and the one on one game improved my court vision.
The emphasis on using my “off hand (left)” over the course of the
whole week made it a lot stronger.
Mission, TX:
I am a post player and usually I would
just catch the ball and immediately shoot or pass because I would panic
quickly. But because of all of the moves you taught us and the repetition
and the emphasis on “low anxiety for post players” I am now able to be
patient with the ball and make the appropriate move around the basket.
Brownsville, TX:
I now have the skills to
excel in basketball! Attending this camp has also given me a new
perspective on life. The stories about people who did things to help
others and to overcome adversity moved me toward becoming a 100%
person.
Columbia, SC:
I am much more
aggressive and I have developed a real passion for wanting to play
and to be as good as I can be! The other things I learned made me
realize that the excellence I am striving for on the basketball
court should show up in everything I do. In addition I had a lot of
fun.

Greeley, CO:
The things you teach the kids about the game, about God
and themselves are priceless! Every year he learns so much
basketball at camp, continues to apply and just keeps
getting better. This camp has completely changed the way he
plays the game along with growing his confidence. He says
that the staff makes them feel so special and teaches them
that God has a plan & purpose for their lives so this is why
he chooses this camp each year. Along with all of this he
has a lot of fun. He loves the coaches.
Maryville,
TN: The focus here is about giving 100% = everything and
saying yes to God! It wasn’t a ton of fun (he said “somewhat
fun”) but he expected it to be work. He was glad he went,
felt it was very valuable and worthwhile. He would attend
again! The demonstrators / coaches were excellent and really
made the camp. I sum this camp up as excellent in every way,
the schedule was followed and I can’t imagine anything
better.
Alpine, TX: This
was absolutely a great investment! He said it was hard to
retrain himself in some of the new techniques. Still
struggling to some extent but he is staying on task and I
see him succeeding. I see a new peace in him and a month
later it is still in place.
Dawson, GA: My son received a lot of personal
assistance and learned many new strategies. He is excited
about using what he learned next season. He already had a
sense of Godly purpose but you opened the door to his being
more of a leader. He practices the drills and is showing
them to others including his younger sister. I do not know
how you did it but he has a new love for a sport he has
enjoyed for a long time. Thanks!
Highlands
Ranch, CO: The staff are great role models, The Lord is
first and basketball second. Great basketball teaching here.
This is their third year. Our sons attended several “big
name camps” this summer and they ranked Don Eddy as #1.
Overland
Park, KS: One thing I like is all of the paper work /
evaluations / feedback & information you give the students
at the end of camp. He and we know what he needs to work on.
We can know what has been going on this week. Our son tends
to be a little of the “glass half-empty” mentality some of
the time and I think the positive / encouragement nature of
this camp let him see “our positive or half full side.” The
fact that he is hearing that God has a plan and purpose for
his life is a big thing. He couldn’t wait to go back each
day. This camp went above our expectations.
Fort Worth,
TX: I really appreciate how your camps continue to help
young people in an “all round” way. A week at camp make’s a
difference in them as they mature and develop. This is her
second year and the learning curve increased over last year.
I see the difference already. She sets goals for the year
and a lot of it is based on her experience here. Between our
son and daughter we have been involved with this camp for
several years and I continue to see small differences that
continue to improve the experience.
Glenwood Springs, CO: Our son was inspired after going
to this camp! The next day he was in the gym practicing and
this is not typical behavior for him. He has learned how,
using the programs he brought home from camp, that he can
work hard by himself and improve his game. He is reading the
bible and enjoyed the Christian aspect of the camp. He had
fun and received a real boost of confidence. I can see
marked improvement in his play.
