Devine, TX:
The stories in the morning sank into my heart and were
uplifting and have made me a better person. All of the
staff were so positive and inspiring.
Clemson, SC:
I now have the tools / drills to take home with me to keep me
on track and allow me to continue my growth as a player. My whole offensive
game is much better after this week. The inspirations each morning made me
different in a way. I won’t be taking short cuts and I will have an attitude
of determination I haven’t had before.
Kenedy, TX:
This camp made me realize that if you work hard enough
and have a consistent work ethic along with being
coachable it will all pay off. I’m really glad this camp
didn’t just focus on basketball as the inspirations and
devotions really allowed Jesus to touch my heart.
Coushatta, LA:
This camp is hard at the first but it pays
off at the end. In the end I like it just like it is. A big thing is
to be able to correct my shooting so that when I miss I know
immediately how to “fix it.” I understand God and Jesus more than I
ever have.
Big Spring,
TX:
I was on overload for a while but I got it. The new moves and
the new way to shoot will really help my shots to fall and also
enable me to beat the defense to get to the basket. Every day was
sure packed with information. I enjoyed all of the coaches. Also I
will look at life with a different perspective and I will express my
love to my family.
Leakey, TX:
I’ve been here six years and it just keeps getting better and
better. I continually grow closer to God.
Denver, CO:
I will always have a good move to beat my opponent.
Every day at home I have the system to practice and
continue my improvement. I already see that I am getting
along better with people so I feel I am becoming a
better person.
The coaches did a great job and encouraged me to stick
with the program. I had a “blast” and I will be back
next year.
Elgin, TX:
I will
finally be able to respect myself as a basketball player! Jesus is
back in my life and I count on him more. I just enjoyed being here.
to do. I am much more of an offensive threat from both the outside
and the inside but especially at driving to the basket. Also, I have
become more open to constructive criticism.
Denver, CO:
This is my third year and each year I become a greater
asset to my team. I know I can score off the shot or on
the drive to the basket and to draw fouls. I’ve been to
a lot of camps in both basketball and football but this
is the only one where you learn “the why of what you do
or should not do” and then the coaches see you through
until you get it. The inspirations & devotions really
got me thinking about my spiritual life and I’m getting
on track and making Jesus a priority.
Corpus Christi, TX:
Before I was “just a center” but now I am a dominating
center that can shoot and score!
Slocum, TX:
The things I have learned here have never been taught to
me. I have been packing a lot of information into my
mind and body. I can see that I am getting better so my
confidence is coming. Another thing, the morning
inspirations and evening devotions have changed me.
Wichita, KS:
I am no longer a “nobody” at the high school level! In most
every aspect this camp was a very good experience as my game has gotten
better, my confidence is growing and my spiritual life is kept in
perspective.
