To have every student know that this has been a significant week in their life; that it has made a difference in them as a basketball player and as a person. That they have gained the tools that give them a better chance to reach or even exceed their basketball goals while at the same time getting a clearer picture of the life that God has called them to live. That their life will make a difference!

                                       Colossians 3:23-24
"23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving."

1. Learn that the freedom to fail enhances our chance to succeed.

2. Learn that you cannot circumvent the process and still experience the benefits.

3. Learn that competition is performance based, but that happiness and joy are relationship based.

4. Learn that one of the secrets as a player and as a person is to strive to make those around you successful.

5. To know that God has "engineered" us to succeed and then how to activate the truths and principles that allow it to happen.

6. To understand that the harder you work, the greater the benefits.

7. To give understanding to the principle that individual hard work must be complimented with patience with one's own development.

8. To promote the coach's perspective so that the player better understands how their coach sees them as players.
